Adobe Audition

Introduction

Adobe Audition is audio editing software that follows the same multitrack structure as Adobe’s Premiere Pro. This software is great for editing audio of all types, whether you’re working with spoken podcast-style audio or music audio.

Background

Originally named Cool Edit Pro, Audition was purchased by Adobe in 2003 from the original creators of the software, Syntrillium Software.
